Using a digital sampling keyboard workstation, master-level musicianship, a microphone and a blend of audience participation, high energy music, information and humor, Brent creates an exciting, one-of-a-kind performance that will capture the imaginations of your audience (and your faculty, too)!
Music Technology with Brent Daniels demonstrates the important relationship between technology and the creation of the music and sounds one hears on an iPod, on TV, in movies and video games. Volunteers will participate in the program to help Brent create unique on-the-spot sounds and by the end of the show, an original song that will raise the roof! You will be amazed at the way Brent relates to an audience by bringing out the eager musician in everyone.

A passionate advocate for education, Brent uses his Music Technology program as a vehicle for delivering an important message: how important a student's education, great study habits and positive decision-making are for his or her success in life and any career.
As a working producer and composer, Brent Daniels' music can be heard in many current TV shows (Mad Men, Burn Notice, The Real World) and in movies (Charlie's Angels, The Lake House, The Love Guru, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation). In 2011 his original electronic soundtrack for the award-winning independent feature film A Lonely Place For Dying, featuring Academy Award™ nominee James Cromwell (LA Confidential, The Artist, Babe), and Michael Wincott (The Crow, The Count Of Monte Cristo), won the jury award for excellence at the Park City Film music festival. As a performer and educator, Brent has hosted his Music Technology show at thousands of schools across the United States since 1993, consistently garnering rave reviews from well over a million students, parents and faculty.
